The tissues and cell types can be ordered by organ, cell type or alphabetically. If ordered by organ, the tissues are presented in groups according to functional features. If ordered by cell type, the cells are presented in groups related to origin.
This score describes the level of antibody staining observed in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). It is based on the staining intensity and fraction of stained cells. The images and annotations can be accessed by clicking on the tissue name or score bar. This score describes a knowledge-based best estimate of the protein expression in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). It is a result of stringent evaluation of immunohistochemical staining pattern, RNA data from internal and external sources and available protein/gene characterization data. HPA001445
Most normal tissues showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity, often with a granular pattern. Gastric glands, gall bladder, urothelium and seminiferus ducts cells displayed strong cytoplasmic and membranous positivity. Squamous epithelia, bile ducts, renal glomeruli, placental trophoblasts, spleen, skeletal and smooth muscle were negative.
HPA036310
Gastric mucosa, gall bladder and seminiferous duct cells as well as subsets of cells in duodenum and urothelium displayed strong cytoplasmic and membranous positivity. A subset of lymphoid cells were moderately stained. Remaining normal tissues were mainly negative.

Moderate to strong cytoplasmic and/or membranous positivity was observed in squamous epithelial cells, gastrointestinal glands, hepatocytes, gall bladder, urothelium, cells in seminiferus ducts and epididymis. Most remaining normal tissues were weakly stained or negative.
