The tissues and cell types can be ordered by organ, cell type or alphabetically. If ordered by organ, the tissues are presented in groups according to functional features. If ordered by cell type, the cells are presented in groups related to origin.
This score describes the level of antibody staining observed in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). It is based on the staining intensity and fraction of stained cells. The images and annotations can be accessed by clicking on the tissue name or score bar. This score describes a knowledge-based best estimate of the protein expression in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). It is a result of stringent evaluation of immunohistochemical staining pattern, RNA data from internal and external sources and available protein/gene characterization data. Normal tissues displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity and additional membranous staining in a few cases. Skeletal muscle was negative.

Respiratory epithelia and fallopian tube displayed strong cytoplasmic and membranous immunoreactivity. Peripheral nerves, neuroendocrine cells and neuronal cells of CNS except Purkinje cells displayed strong cytoplasmic positivity. Moderate cytoplasmic staining was observed in gastrointestinal tract, thyroid gland, urinary bladder, cells in seminiferous ducts of testis and germinal center cells of lymphoid tissues. Remaining normal tissues were negative.

Normal tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining with additional membranous and nuclear positivity in several tissues. Bronchus was strongly stained.

This antibody usually showed a diffuse cytoplasmic staining with variable intensity. Rare cells showed nuclear expression. There was very strong staining in neural tissue and in glandular cells in many organs. Squamous epithelium showed variable staining intensity. Lymphoid cells were strongly positive in germinal centers and weaker staining was seen in small lymphocytes. Strong staining was found in megakaryocytes and some precursors in the bone marrow.
Very strong expression was seen in gliomas and in many lymphomas. Other tumors showed more variable staining intenstity but most samples were positive. There was positivity in stroma in most tumors.
