IQ calmodulin-binding motif-containing protein 1 (IQCB1) RNA is moderately but widely expressed across numerous organs of the human body. Similarly, in the mouse, the protein is moderately ubiquitously expressed too. In more detail, moderate-intensity immunostaining of sparse neuronal cell bodies is observed throughout several regions of the forebrain/hindbrain with the Cerebellar Purkinje-neurons being strongly immunoreactive.
